The Information We Collect from You

The Internal Recruiter may collect your personal details, including but not limited to your name and contact details (together with your e-mail address) and other relevant information from your CV on behalf of our clients. On occasions, this may also include – sensitive personal information such as details of criminal convictions and ethnic origin. We conform to legal requirements, under the equality of opportunity laws and process this personal information to assist our recruitment process and provide you with an enhanced service.

This information is held, used and disclosed by us as follows:

Subscriber information on email opening and clicks is gathered to help us to monitor and improve our future e-newsletters. If you register as a user of our services, you are consenting to the collecting and processing of personal information (which may include sensitive data) for the purpose of providing you with a talent resourcing service or presenting information relating to positions relevant to you.

Our Legal Right to Process Information

The Internal Recruiter will process information for the purpose of supporting our clients requirements, providing a virtual recruitment administration service. We do not advertise directly and leave our clients to choose how and where they wish to attract potential candidates. If the event a client requires support shortlisting, interviewing or speaking with a prospective candidate…we will only hold the CV for its purpose and will not become part of a database. The Internal Recruiter have reviewed the purposes of our processing activities and selected the most appropriate lawful basis (or bases) for each activity:

1. Supporting clients with recruitment planning, documentation and the process.

2. Processing an application for a job – rely on legitimate interest on behalf of our client.

How We Protect Your Data

We are committed to storing your personal information securely and treating it with sensitivity. We use a third party provider to help us maintain and support our website. Your personal information is held on a database that is hosted on a server and is protected against unauthorised access by the latest security software.

Our Data Retention Period

The data will be stored for a maximum of 2 years from receiving consent; however The Internal Recruiter will endeavour to remove it prior to that – ideally after 3 months of the vacancy being filled or the start date of the new employee, whichever happens last. Aggregate Information about The Internal Recruiter online visitors. We gather information and statistics collectively about all visitors to our website, via Google Analytics. This provides information about how and where users access certain areas most frequently and what is of interest the most.  We only use such data in the aggregate form.
